These are some of the most dramatic small scale project before and after photos we’ve ever seen.
You will note here that the existing covered porch had a flat roof,
which had to be removed as part of the addition.
The Competed Project

The new Sun Room has a beautiful waterfront view
including Sykes Creek, and Ulumay Park.
You will note below that the roof, columns, and knee wall were all demolished.
Almost nothing was retained from the old porch;
the new slab was poured over the old slab as a four inch cap.
The Interior
AD&D designed this conventionally framed roof with a load bearing ridge beam to maximize the volume;
and create a nostalgic old Florida feel in this space.
We love the knotty pine ceiling, and the seamless integration to the pool area through the triple slider.
